Unbelievable. THIS is why I'm decluttering!

They got $13,000 for the garage sale, but think how much money she spent on that stuff. Again, wow...

Getting a clearer mind,

I hope they are getting that lady some therapy, or her house will look like that again in one year. That is amazing...!

You know, I don't have a tip (really) but I did just spend a minute or two getting my closet manageable, not perfect. When I have something big or distasteful to de-clutter or straighten, I just make myself deal with 5 things at a time. Some people do 15 minutes, but truthfully, there are times that 15 minutes is overwhelming to me. I deal with 5 things -- put away, give away, or throw away -- and then I WALK away until I would like to do 5 more.

"A job begun is a job half done!" (can't find who originally said it, or is it just a pithy proverb?)

I saw this show. It's crazy to think we continue to buy and collect. I often think of those in need. Why we hoard is beyond understanding? I like less. It frees my mind. But I will say I have a ways to go. I like my books too much.
